Former Fulham midfielder Derek Boateng has joined Spanish outfit Rayo Vallecano.
The Ghanaian international was released earlier this month after a nightmare season at Craven Cottage.
Boateng was restricted to just two Premier League starts for the club since his switch from Dnipro last summer.
The 31-year-old featured five times in all competitions for the Whites, with his last outing coming in the FA Cup against Norwich back in January.
Boateng was one of nine players shown the door at the end of the campaign as Felix Magath shapes his squad for the Championship.
However, he has wasted no time in getting fixed up with a new club after signing for La Liga outfit Rayo Vallecano.
