Fulham remain hopeful attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho will sign a new contract with the club.
Carvalho’s contract expires this summer, with a number of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, West Ham and Leeds, interested in the 19-year-old.
The midfielder has been at Fulham since he was 12 and made his first team debut as a second half substitute last season in September 2020 when Fulham played Sheffield wednesday in the League Cup. He went on to play in four Premiership games scoring in his first full game against Southampton.
This season he has appeared 17 times for the club scoring seven goals including two in the most recent
game against Birmingham .
Sky Sports News has been told lines of communication between Fulham and Carvalho’s representatives remain open.
The Championship leaders hope promotion to the Premier League will help convince the Portuguese to extend his stay at the club.
