Fulham Head Coach Scott Parker is a fan of the work David Moyes has done at West Ham United, but insists the target of taking three points on Saturday remains.

“They’ve done fantastic,” Parker said of his former side. “David’s done an amazing job there, from last year and where they were as a team [to now], they’ve done fantastic.

“They’re on a real good vein of form, they’re a good side who have got a habit of knowing how to win football matches.

“It’s a big challenge again for us on the weekend, [but] one I see that we can get a result in for sure.

“At the same time, I understand we’re going to need to be right at it and be at our best to get that, so we’ll try and do that.”

The London derby could see Fulham fans get a first glimpse of new signing Josh Maja now that the striker has joined up with the group following his deadline day loan from Bordeaux.

“It was his first day of training today,” Parker revealed. “He came into us yesterday, has now had his first training session, and he’s settled in really, really well.

“We’re looking forward to having him, I’m very pleased we’ve got him with us, and I’m looking forward to seeing his qualities and working with him.

“He’s a young player who we hope we can try and develop, as well as him trying to help us at the top end of the pitch.

“I need to speak to him after today’s session and see where he is. We’ll get another session into him tomorrow, but I think he’ll be involved in some capacity at the weekend.”
