Fulham fan's

In brilliant sunshine thousands of Fulham supporters flooded the streets of Fulham
to celebrate the hugely successful conclusion to the 2000/2001 season.
The Fulham squad, managed by Jean Tigana, ran away with the Nationwide First Division
Championship heading the league for all but a couple of weeks. They scored more
goals than any other top flight European team and finished the season just four
points short of the all time points record for the league.
Yesterday was the moment that the squad, Manager Jean Tigana and Chairman Mohamed
Al Fayed were able to parade the Trophy, on an open top bus, from the Craven Cottage
stadium to the Fulham Town Hall.
Excited fans congregated en masse at Craven Cottage and the Town Hall at Fulham
Broadway while many followed the Bus through the streets.

The bus carrying the Chairman, players and management all taking turns to show
the First Division trophy to cheering fans proceeded down Fulham Palace Road and
Fulham Road, with the fans forming a triumphant procession behind the bus..
A sea of Black and White flags awaited the bus upon its arrival at Fulham Broadway
and as the players proudly held the trophy aloft the fans went wild.
The supporters then got their opportunity to meet and greet their heroes in
person as the players and Chairman spent the best part of an hour celebrating
in the streets and mixing with supporters.
