Fulham confirm Brighton home game to be played without supporters being present.
Fulham FC statement:
Following this Monday afternoon’s most recent government announcement that London is to move into Tier 3 of the Covid-19 local restriction tier system from 00:01 on Wednesday 16th December, the Club regretfully informs supporters that our fixture vs. Brighton & Hove Albion on this date will now be played behind closed doors.
Fans who had received a ticket or matchday hospitality package for this match are advised that these tickets will no longer be valid and should not attend Craven Cottage. Medical questionnaires that have already been distributed for this fixture no longer need to be completed. Further information regarding refunds and / or any next steps for supporters with tickets for this match will be issued in due course.
The Club has worked hard in recent weeks to welcome a limited number of supporters back to Craven Cottage, and it was fantastic to have some fans with us on Sunday. We understand the frustration and disappointment of our supporters, rest assured we will be ready to welcome you back when there are changes to the guidelines and as soon as it is safe to do so.
Thank you as always for your understanding and support. Please continue to look after yourselves and each other.
