Representatives from Fulham, Arsenal, Leeds
and West Ham are attending a conference this week where the subject of new
stadia will be high on the agenda.
The quartet of Premiership clubs have all been linked with moves
away from their current grounds recently.
Among the items being discussed at the two-day conference at London Arena
are the design, construction and refurbishment of stadia.
Turf technology is also being discussed, with a presentation on the development
and refinement of a moveable pitch also on the agenda.
Safety is also a key part of the conference, with Arsenal stadium manager
John Beattie explaining the increasingly important role of the safety officer
to achieve a secure environment at public venues.
Delegates from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, Paris St Germain and European
champions Bayern Munich will also be attending the two-day conference at
London Arena, where admission control and other ground matters are also
being discussed.
