The Club is delighted to confirm the loan signing of Dan James from Leeds United.
The 24-year-old winger will remain at Craven Cottage for the duration of the 2022/23 campaign.
Speaking to FFCtv, James said: “I’m looking forward to it!
“I’ve spoken to the Gaffer and it feels like a great fit for me, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Tony Khan added: “I’m thrilled to welcome Dan James to Fulham. He’s an exciting talent, and he’s gained tremendous playing experience at a young age, both domestically and internationally.
“Dan is very keen to play for Marco here at Fulham, and we’re delighted to have him join the squad as we work to continue the great momentum that the team has started this season with.
“Come on Fulham!”
After spending time in the academy of local side Hull City, James joined Swansea City’s youth setup in August 2014, and later went on to help their PL2 side to a league and cup double.
James scored on his senior debut for the Swans in the FA Cup in February 2018, and then established himself as a first team regular the following campaign, featuring 38 times across all competitions.
He registered five goals and 10 assists that year, which prompted Manchester United to part with a reported £18m to bring him to Old Trafford.
The pacey wideman took to the Premier League immediately, scoring three times in his first four matches, including on his debut in a 4-0 win over Chelsea.
United ended that campaign in third place, and also reached the Semi-Finals of the FA Cup, League Cup, and Europa League.
After nine goals and as many assists in red, Leeds paid a reported £25m for his services, and he registered four goals and five assists in his maiden campaign at Elland Road to help the club preserve their Premier League status.
Eligible for Wales through his father, James made his debut for the senior national side in November 2018 and now has 34 caps and five goals to his name.
He started all four of Wales’ 2020 European Championship fixtures, and was also a key part of the side to qualify for this winter’s World Cup.
