Nationwide Division One leaders Fulham are reported to have lined up a bid of
around £2million for highly-rated Tranmere midfielder Jason Koumas.
On Tuesday the Fulham Manager admitted that a bid had been made for the midfield
star but was quick to add that Rovers valuation was in excess of Fulham's.
Manchester City and Ipswich are also amongst a number of clubs keen to sign him,
however, with Koumas recently signing a new three-and-half year contract any bids
may be in vain.
Rovers have already rejected an offer of £1.5million for the 21-year-old and Manager
John Aldridge has emphasised that he is not keen to let one of the clubs most
promising players leave.
