Fulham manager Martin Jol was thrilled to have signed Elsad Zverotic on transfer deadline day, and the Fulham manager expects the Montenegro international to play a key role at Craven Cottage this season.
The 26-year-old utility player joined the Cottagers from Swiss club Young Boys of Berne and he could make his Fulham debut at home to West Brom on Saturday.
Jol said: "He is included in the squad, you know him because he played against England and he was man of the match in that game.
"We were quite happy to get him on very good terms and I'm quite happy to have a utility player.
"We followed him over the last two years, he can fill in for Sascha Riether or even play. He is always in the (Montenegro) line-up.
"He can play in midfield, in front of the defence and he was a left-back - I needed a player who could fill in several positions."
