Fulham have agreed a deal to sell striker Matt Smith to QPR, according to Sky sources.
It is understood Rangers will pay an initial £500,000 fee, possibly rising to an eventual £1m based on incentives.
Smith, 27, will undergo a medical with the Whites' West London rivals and look to finalise personal terms.
The Birmingham born forward signed for Fulham for £500,000 in 2014 but has struggled to establish himself under a succession of managers.
He has only made 20 Championship starts for the club across three season, and spent time on loan at Bristol City in 2014-15, where he scored 13 goals in 20 appearances. For Fulham he has only scored nine times in 53 games.
Sky sources understand Fulham still want to sign a new striker before Tuesday's deadline and are interested in Jordan Rhodes, but consider his price too expensive at £9m.
