a 32 years old ex-PE teacher, was appointed to the EFL referees list for the start of the 2012/13 season, taking charge of his first game between Southend United and Accrington Stanley. Ref Robinson has been selected as one of the Referee Select Group 2 who will be employed on a full time basis.
The last time Mr Robinson bossed a Fulham game was our 2-0 away win at Bristol City he booked three players two from Fulham, Stefan Johansen in the 45th minute and Tim Ream in the 71st minute both for fouls.
Prior to that game he had refed us this season in two games. The 2-0 away win at Brentford in November 2016. He booked four players including one from Fulham, Kevin McDonald for a foul in the 27th minute.
And the 1-1 draw at home to Burton Albion, his inability to stop Burton time wasting was not appreciated by the home crowd. He booked six player, two from Fulham, Ragnar Sigurdsson for dissent and Jozabed for arguing.
Rotherhan United last had the pleasure of Mr Robinson back in December when they were beaten 1-0 away at Sheffield Wednesday. He yellow carded four Rotherham players and red carded their defender Richard Wood.
Last Season Ref Robinson reffed 43 games dishing out 149 yellows, an average 3.5 cards a game, and a well above average 9 reds.
So far this season he has reffed 36 games showing the yellow card 160 times, an above average of 4.4 cards per game, and again a well above average 9 red cards.
In a League One game between Millwall and Gillingham in December 2016 he dished out 5 yellows, two of the booked players received a second yellow and therefore a red, Paul Konchesky was one of them.
His busiest game this season was Portsmouth vrs Wycombe when he yellow carded 7 visiting players and 3 Portsmouth players.
