Referee Stuart Attwell, 34 years old, made history as the youngest Premier League referee at 25 years old when he took charge of Blackburn and Hull in August 2008.
Ref Attwell became infamous for, amongst other controversial decisions, the ghost goal for Reading at Watford in 2008 when the ball clearly went wide of the post. He was suspended from the Premier League for two years
He last reffed Fulham, back in September 2015, in the 1-0 League Cup home defeat by Stoke. He yellow carded three players including one Fulham player Ryan Tunnicliffe for a foul in the last minute.
Mr Attwell last reffed a Brighton game in December 2015 when they were beaten 1-0 at home by Ipswich and Mr Attwell yellow carded one player from each side.
Last season he reffed 44 games dishing out 118 yellow cards, a below average 2.7 cards per game, and 4 red cards. This season so far he has reffed 13 games dishing out 45 yellows, an increased average of 3.5 cards a game, and 3 reds. So a good chance of a few yellows and even a red.
