Referee Andrew Madley, 32, took up the whistle in 2002 at the age of 18 after an injury playing at Huddersfield Town academy. He started out in his local divisions and began to progress through the supply lines from 2004 before becoming a Premier League linesman in 2009.
He has been a referee, on the Football League National Referee List, since the opening day of the 2011-12 season. In summer 2016 Ref Madley became part of the Select Group 2 for full time Football League referees.
The last time Mr Madley reffed Fulham was in our 1-0 away defeat at Birmingham in February of this year.
He yellow carded five players, including Kevin McDonald and Sone Aluko both for fouls, and sent off Ryan Fredericks in the 68th minute for a bad foul.
Prior to the Birmingham game Mr Madley refed Fulham in October 2016 in another trip to the Midlands this time it was to Aston Villa and we also lost 1-0. He booked four Fulham players Piazon(45,f), McDonald (72,f), Martin (83,f), Madl (90,f) and no Aston Villa players.
Norwich were last reffed by Mr Madley in February of this year when they drew 2-2 at home to Newcastle, four players were booked, two players from each side.
Last season he refed 40 games and dished out 118 yellows and 3 reds, an under average rate of just over 2.9 yellows per game so not too bad. In 38 games this season, so far, he has waved his yellow card on average 3.4 times per game with 6 reds.
