Referee Paul Tierney was promoted to the Select Group of Referees ahead of the 2015/16 season after a successful seven years on the National List.
The Lancashire FA official became a member of the National Group of Referees ahead of the 2009/10 campaign, with Macclesfield Town against Notts County on the opening weekend of the League Two season being the first fixture he refereed.
Ref Tierney last refed Fulham last season in the 1-0 home win over Millwall in November, two Millwall players were booked.
Earlier in the season he bossed Fulham in the 2-0 win at Ipswich in August and had a quiet game issuing just one yellow card.
