Referee Tim Robinson,
a 32 years old ex-PE teacher, was appointed to the EFL referees list for the start of the 2012/13 season, taking charge of his first game between Southend United and Accrington Stanley.Ref Robinson has been selected as one of the Referee Select Group 2 who will be employed on a full time basis.
Mr Robinson has reffed one Fulham game already this season when we drew 1-1 at home to Burton Albion and his inability to stop Burton time wasting was not appreciated by the home crowd.
Last season Ref Robinson reffed two Fulham games, the first was the
3-1 trouncing of QPR at Loftus Road in February
2016 when he booked Dan Burn and Jamie O'Hara and the second time was the 2-1 home victory over M.K. Dons in April of 2016 when he booked Stearman, Amorebieta, Tunnicliffe and Dembele.
Brentford last had the pleasure of Mr Robinson's presence in August of this year when they beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 and he yellow carded 6 players, three from Brentford, and sent off a Forest player in the 88th minute with a second yellow.
Last Season Ref Robinson reffed 43 games dishing out 149 yellows,
an average of 3.5 cards a game, and a well above average 9 reds.
This season he has reffed
13 games, so far, showing the yellow card 64 times, an average of 4.0 cards per game, and 3 red cards.
In a Championship game between Newcastle and Wolves in September of this year he dished out 8 yellows, 5 of them to the visitors, and a red card to a home player!!
