Fulham's Rodrigo Muniz’s sublime centre-forward performance has seen him named Man of the Match from Fulham’s 2-1 win in Wolverhampton.
One of five changes to the starting XI, Muniz’s all-action display gave Wolves’ back-three no end of problems, with his excellent hold-up play evident as early as the first minute when he played a key role in Ryan Sessegnon’s opener.
Sess’ goal was timed at 58 seconds, and Muniz ran him close in the second half, restoring the Whites’ lead with 63 seconds on the clock.
Adama Traoré added another fine assist to his collection by bending a perfect pass around Santiago Bueno to pick out the run of Muniz, who took advantage of Jose Sa’s decision to rush out by coolly dinking a first-time chip over the goalkeeper.
The Premier League gave Muniz their Man of the Match award after the game, with 32.2 per cent of the Fulham fans in full agreement.
The top-three were all individuals who had come into the side, with Sessegnon in second on 27.9%, ahead of the imperious Issa Diop who took 16.5.
