Referee Thomas Bramall |
Referee Thomas Bramall started running the line in non league football in 2014 and refereeing in 2016/2017 in the National League moving up to Football League Two and One in 2018/2019. Last season 2020/2021 he was promoted to the Championship and at the start of 2021/2022 he was promoted to the Select Group 2 refereeing list. Mr Bramell continued his meteoric rise with a promotion to the Select Group 1 refereeing list in 2022.
Mr Bramall last refed a Fulham game on 30th August 2022, when we won 2-1 at home to Brighton. He booked three players, two from Fulham, Antonee Robinson and Harrison Reed.
The only other time Mr Bramell refed a Fulham game was the 1-1 away draw at Luton in December 2021. He booked one player, a Luton player. Aleksandar Mitrovic scored Fulham's goal.
Aston Villa have not had the pleasure of Mr Bramall's company yet.
Last season he refed 33 games and dished out 105 yellows and 6 red, so an average of 3.2 yellows per game. So far this season he has refed 30 games dishing out 91 yellows, so an average of 3.0 yellows per game, and 2 reds.
His busiest game in recent time was the Bolton versus Accrington game at the end of last season in April 2022 where he dished out four yellows to Bolton players and another four to Accrington players finishing off by red carding an Accrington player. Although he did dish out 7 yellows earlier this season in the Bristol City vrs Cardiff game.
