An expensive signing for Huddersfield Town when he moved from AS Monaco after a successful loan spell, Terence Kongolo hasn’t really paid off.

Loaned to Fulham for the backend of the 2019-20 season, the defender played just twice for the Cottagers before suffering a foot injury, leading to his return to the John Smith’s Stadium in August.

With Huddersfield still in the Championship after finishing last season in 18th, another move appears to be in the process of being organised for the Dutchman, according to Manu Lonjon in France.

The journalist took to social media to report the player’s future is reaching ‘decisive hours’, as he and his club have been presented with three offers.

One of them comes from newly promoted Fulham, who, alongside Fenerbahçe in Turkey, have made a loan bid with an option to buy.

As for the third one, it’s come from AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie, a league the player knows well from his years at Feyenoord, who are offering a loan with an obligation to buy.

There’s no detail as to which move the Huddersfield defender would prefer, and it could all come down to which league he wants to play in.

He might feel there’s unfinished business at Fulham (getting the chance to return to the Premier League in the process).
